Maddie Lazer recently joined Netflix Animation as a Production Manager, overseeing a high-profile feature film from script to screen. Maddie aspires to collaborate with diverse voices from around the world, and to bring unique stories and visual styles to audiences.

Maddie began her career in entertainment as a Second Assistant to legendary producer Leonard Goldberg. She moved on to work at Paramount Pictures, where she fell in love with animation. Since then, she has earned numerous production credits, including Senior Production Supervisor on the upcoming animated film, Over the Moon, as well as Production Coordinator on the Academy Award-winning short, Dear Basketball. She also spent a brief stint in tech, working as Product Manager for Flix – an industry-standard animation software used in storyboarding and previsualization.

Maddie graduated with a B.A. in History and International Affairs from George Washington University. She earned the Deixler-Swain Prize for her Russian history-focused honors thesis, and was admitted to the Dobro Slovo National Slavic Honor Society for her achievements in Russian language studies.
